Our second time with Nicole. She arrived beyond well prepared and highly motivated to sell our house. We are with the military and the timings were very tight to get the deal done. We had some bad luck with a buyer while on our house hunting trip, as it goes with the military life. While we were in Ottawa, Nicole was back here working tirelessly. I had known Nikki for quite some time from a friend of a friend type …of relationship. A few years back, she once helped me get in to see a listing we wanted to see (that she had the listing on) when my agent at the time, was “too busy”. At that time, I thought, “this girl knows her stuff and next time, I want to give her a shot.” While this post is about her, I must take a moment to pat myself on the back, as I was RIGHT! What great instincts I have! The basics are this, I have tended to believe I know the Barrie Real Estate market better than the average person as I watch it regularly and try to remove the personal connection when selling and buying a property. I allowed her to pick the listing price based on her research (which was pleasantly above where my “expertise” thought it should be) and we received multiple offers and settled on $7K over asking.
